Microsoft Edge For Macos Sonoma

Good Evening,
i'm trying to migrate from Safari to microsoft Edge.
I can't get my bookmarks or history to import.
Does anyone know why this might be & what I can do to fix it?
In case it helps, I'm running the latest version of Microsoft edge under MacoS Sonoma.
Since I'm running the beta, I wasn't sure where to put this topic, since its not directly related to the beta itself.
If the admins would like to move it, please feel free to do so & i'll make note of the change for next time.

I found a set of instructions, which I'm following, but the import keeps failing.
It keeps giving me errors that state that the information couldn't be imported.
This issue occurs when I select both bookmarks & history but if I select bookmarks only, then it says it completed the import.
However, when I go check, they are nonexistent.
Can anyone please assist?
