Second Call for Abstracts and a reminder that registrations are open to attend and present at the
15th Oppenheimer Research Conference, to be held at the Randjesfontein Cricket Pavilion, Midrand, South Africa,
from the 7th – 9th October 2026.
Due to the limited availability of spaces (only 450 pax) and the rapidly filling registrations, we strongly recommend securing your spot promptly. The
15th
Oppenheimer Research Conference promises to be a gathering of brilliant minds from around the world, where you can engage with leading experts in various fields, expand
your knowledge, and forge valuable connections.
The conference aims to contribute to the conservation of ecosystems, biodiversity and heritage by creating an
inclusive and encouraging platform for quality presentations, discussions, networking and collaboration. We also encourage you to participate in the programme through submitting an abstract for a poster,
30-minute or 15-minute presentation. For detailed information on abstract submission, please refer to the

Abstract Submission Guidelines.
Please note, the deadline for abstract submissions is 5 June 2026. Sadly, late submissions will not be considered.
Please keep in mind that your registration will only be considered complete once we receive the registration payment of R1 200. Once registered, you will have the convenience of editing your
registration details and abstract through the link provided in your 'Invoice and Payment Required'
email or once payment has been made in your 'Registration Confirmation'
email.
