Dear Journal Editors,

 

Please find attached Communiqué Number 1 (April 2026) from the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) on the ZA Publication Monitor and Journal Finder.

 

This new tool provides a consolidated list of approved journals and should be used to verify journal eligibility for subsidy. It will apply to 2026 publications submitted in 2027.
