Affiliation agreement_GRAA_SA and SAWMA

Dear SAWMA members,

 

Some exciting news: We have recently been contacted by the Chairperson of the South African Chapter of the Game Ranger Association of Africa regarding an affiliation agreement, similar to the existing agreement with our sister society, the Australasian Wildlife Management Society.

 

We are pleased to announce that a formal affiliation agreement has now been signed with the SA Chapter of the Game Ranger Association of Africa. The two organisations share the same passion for African biodiversity and its long-term resilience and have complementary objectives. The liaison person with the GRAA_SA on the SAWMA committee will be Declan Hofmeyr, our current Vice-President.

 

The terms of the affiliation agreement are set out in the attached document.

 

We trust that our affiliation will be mutually beneficial to our respective organisations, our memberships, and the biodiversity we wish to conserve.
