REQUEST FOR INFORMATIOIN ON THE COMMON MYNA IN THE NORTHERN CAPE

 

We are conducting research on the Common Myna in the Northern Cape and we would like to get feedback from people living in Northern Cape towns particularly in the western part of the bird’s range (e.g. Prieska, Upington, Kakamas, Kenhardt, Groblershoop, etc). We are particularly interested in looking at the spread of the Myna (dates of arrival etc.), its habitat associations and its interactions with other species.

 

To assist us with this information we have developed an Afrikaans and English questionnaire and would really appreciate it if you could complete it, and also pass it on to other birders/people/farmers who you think could assist.
