You’ve been invited to:
Webinar: Toward a shared vision for climate-informed resource stewardship
Presented as part of a series by the IUCN's Species Survival Commission, in conjunction with its Climate Change Specialist Group, and in collaboration with the US National Park Service and the Cape Research Centre of South African National Parks.
· Wednesday 22 April, 16h00 (that's 4pm SAST // 2pm GMT // 10am EDT // 7am PDT). Online only (MS Teams).
· Register here, to receive a notification 1 hour before the event.
As climate change accelerates, resource managers face growing pressure to make decisions under uncertainty. This webinar explores how key adaptation tools can be better aligned to support clearer, more effective action. Rather than treating these approaches separately, the session will highlight how they can be integrated into a more cohesive and practical framework. Join us to gain insight into simplifying complex choices, improving planning processes, and building more resilient strategies in conservation and environmental management.
Based on the paper:
Presented by:
· Gregor Schuurman (US National Park Service)
· Brian Miller (US Geological Survey)
· Wylie Carr (US National Park Service)
There will be time for questions and discussion.
