Dear SAWMA Community,
The Protected Area Research Group of the North-West University launched a survey on topic suppression in the conservation sector. This research is a collaboration between the NWU Protected Areas Group, the Oxford Wildlife Conservation Research Group and Namibian Nature Foundation.
What the survey aims to do is to better understand where and why topic suppression, particularly through self-censorship, occurs and the factors that may contribute to it. Specifically from the perspective of people working in the conservation sector in Southern Africa. It is aimed at anyone working (current or previously) in the conservation sector, whether it be in research, private conservation, NGO, government or biodiversity management.
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. See the attached the advert with the link and the QR code that can be scanned to complete the survey.
Your perspectives would be interesting and valuable contributions to the study.
