Backing up information on savings to external hard drive

Anyone know how to do this.  I like to keep backups on a separate drive but cannot figure out a way to do so.  Any suggestions?

My best bet us to use Time Machine. Failing that, there is a post on savingsapp.com/blog that tells you how to get at Savings' data folder.
