I am trying the free version of Savings before purchasing the full
version and I was wondering whether it is possible to print or export
the data inserted in the program.

Hi,

Printing is an upcoming feature. I am currently working on it. What information are you looking to print?

iCloud would be amazing,
If you could install Savings on two machines (e.g. my wife's laptop
and mine) and have the same data, and maybe even sync.

If I want to transfer all the savings data from one compute to another
how do I do it?

Thanks!

Savings' database is located in ~/Library/Application Support/Savings. Just copy that folder into the target Mac at the same location. The important thing is to make sure Savings is not running on both Macs while you make the transfer, so there is no stale data in memory, which would lead to corrupt database.

As for the ability to access the same database on two Macs, and have changes sync automatically, that feature is currently being developed. It's not a simple feature, even with technologies like iCloud. I will make announcements on that when something is ready for release.

Hi Igor,

Just want to let you know that Savings for iCloud is almost ready (http://www.savingsapp.com/blog/23-the-wait-is-almost-over), and I am starting to invite people to beta test it. If you are interested, here are the steps to join the beta: https://gist.github.com/ylin/37c2368fc4cf1d861971.

Hope you see you there!

Yi
