Tracking expenses over the last year

Hi, 

I'm new to Savings.  Would like to track my expenses over 2013 starting with Jan.  Just tried to set it up and ended up getting stuck adding only info for 2014.  Can I set up the system to help me track my expenses over the last year so that I can budget for 2014? How?

How are you adding data from last year? Did you try import it from bank statement you download from their website? 

It is not necessary to import past data to setup a budget for 2014 however. The only benefit of having past data is the budget will make estimate based on previous spending. And actually, only a month of past data is necessary for it to make that estimate. It is also possible to just guess what the estimates will be without past data, and adjust it as the year goes along.
