News and alerts about Seattle Public Schools' "Field Project" to convert Wallingford Playfield Park into a artificial turf football field. We believe the Park is for everyone -- all ages and demographics -- and should not become an annex of school athletic departments.
Wallingford Park is already an asset for both the school and those who live in the neighborhood, supporting a wide range of activities, including school sports, club sports, pick-up games, picnics, dance, tai-chi, daycare, after school camp activities, and more. It is our neighborhood backyard.
This group is for anyone who cares about and uses the park. People come from all over Seattle to use Wallingford Park. Daycares rely on the park. People who work in our area use the park. All are welcome.
Please be courteous and respectful, even to those with differing opinions.
