Dear Mr. Dipankar Khasnabish,
We are please to know that you are planning to celebrate World Water
Day in your apartment complex to generate awareness on lake
conservation and to highlight the importance of water conservation.
Such efforts are very much needed in a city like Bangalore and the
city needs more and more concerned citizens like you.
However, we will not be able support your efforts since our focus is
mainly the poor and the disadvantaged sections of the society. We have
been partnering with various voluntary agencies in water-stressed
parts of the country in order to improve the situation of water and
sanitation. I am sure you will be able raise resources from among the
apartment residents for such an important awareness generation event.
You will find very useful information on water-related issues in
www.indiawaterportal.org which could be made use of for raising the
awareness of the citizens.
With best wishes,
Manohar

Hi,
We are the residents of Purva Riviera & Rohan Vasantha at
Marathahalli. For last few months, we had been actively exploring ways
to save the Chinnappanahalli lake, which is behind our apartment.
In order to generate publicity and awareness on the lake in particular
and water conservation in general, we are planning to celebrate the
World Water Day in our apartment on 22nd March. We wanted to explore
whether we can leverage any support from you in this regard.
Regards,
Dipankar Khasnabish
