I am a graduate student at the University of Idaho, Dept of Forest
Resources. The wheatland express service has allowed me to take courses
at WSU that are either only offered at WSU or offered alternating years
through both campuses. Last semester I was able to take a graduate level
meteorology course that was only offered as a 300 level class at UI.
This has also given me the flexibility to take courses when they are
most appropriate to my study plan. The bus service has also allowed me
to connect with other graduate students and discuss class work and
program issues while in transit. The bus service has also kept me away
from driving when I am tired and should not be driving. Most likely I
would drive alone if this service had not been an option for me.
PLease consider keeping the bus service as an alternative to putting
tired students on the highway and providing a way for foreign students
to get to the cross listed courses that are intricately important to
their studies.
Thanks
Rob Lawler
