Dear friends,

After a series of articles by Dr S M Tadkodar on the Konkani People & the Konkani Language, its a pleasure to present to you our new author, Eskay.

Eskay will be writing articles on Konkani Cuisine.

We start off with an introduction to Konkani Cuisine, and yes you guessed it, it begins with the now world famous 'daaLi thoi'.
Ofcourse no article on Konkani food is complete without an anecdote involving Bibbos.

Konkani food plays an important part of any Amchi's life. And if Charlie was an Amchi, I am pretty sure his factory would definitely have a 'daaLi thoi' pool somewhere to ensure a steady supply. :-)
