Shall we allow traders,benggali carpet, grass cutters to enter KTC4??

Folks,

AJKs biro haven't decided this matter. Anyhow, wud like to 'gauge' your respond whether to allow traders like mamak roti, benggali carpet, grass cutter, direct seller folks, mak cik jual keropok to ENTER our beloved KTC4 exclusive area??? Pls state ur opinion n rationale behind. tq

Dear KTC4 Folks,

Despite many communication channels conveyed (via hardcopy bulletin
dropped in post box, MEMO, announcement @ surau, Facebook &
googlegroups), there are RESIDENTS who claimed that they didn't aware
that they have to pay for Security services hired (hope that's NOT an
excuse for them NOT to pay....furthermore, we can't force
them....tapi...sendiri mau FIKIR lah..)

Hence, I suggest to put up banners @ two KTC4 (Phase A & B) entrances to
MEGAPHONE/Communicate our plan.

Cost is approximately RM20-RM25/banner (does it make sense to get
Security Company to pay??)

Here is what I suggest for us to put:

MAKLUMAN

Mulai 1hb Oktober 2010, pihak Biro Keselamatan Penduduk KTC4 telah
melantik syarikat

Asas Security Sdn Bhd (put company reg #) bagi sama-sama membantu
menjaga keselamatan

penduduk KTC4 (Fasa A &B). Mohon kerjasama semua penduduk bagi membayar
servis

RM40/sebulan (tidak termasuk yuran pendaftaran/deposit sebanyak RM40).

Pendaftaran/pembayaran boleh dilakukan di POS Pengawal (laluan utama).

Kerjasama semua penduduk KTC4 bagi menjaga

keselamatan/kesejahteraan

amatlah dihargai.

I would say we allow those (mamak roti, mak cik/pak cik jual kueh/sayur) regularly come to allow enter. The reasons are :
1. They come regular basis and our residence should well known them.
2. Mostly they are eldery ppl for some incomes, not mean to 'bigger task'.
3. They provide essential needs / convenience to us. I always see in the morning one mak cik selling kueh, and there were quite good response from the residence. One Sunday morning I tried the nasi lemak, fantastic :-)
4. Some growing up children may want to try and experience to buy themself roti from mamak, just like our time when we were small in kampong or small town. We are lucky here still have the mamak roti in motorcycle. It is hardly see in many areas these days.

For those come once in a blue moon (door-to-door seller, direct selling), I am not in agreement.
