Guys,
I was just walking and had an idea I wanted to run by you.

Imagine an ad campaign throughout the city:
"Revolutionary times call for revolutionary institutions."
(Free as air and water logo) Educate for free now! - The Cooper Union
(website address)

In tandem with the ads, have atm like stations with videos of
students, faculty, etc... telling the cooper story and an ATM card
slide so people can donate right on the spot!!!

I know it sounds commercial, but we have to reach the general
population. Let's make this idea better or think of other ones we can
present to the development office on Tuesday. OK?

The videos would try to challenge the notion that this is an elitist
institution.
Also, let's think about how to answer this question:

IF THIS WHOLE COUNTRY IS GOING DOWN, WHY SHOULD AN INSTITUTION LIKE
THIS ONE SURVIVE? WHY SHOULD PEOPLE GIVE MONEY TO COOPER IF ALL OTHER
INSTITUTIONS ARE GOING DOWN?
