Tahsildar offices & the lakes that come under them

Dear All,

I would need following information for applying/getting all lake related documents from Tahsildar offices for all our lakes:

1. List of Tahsildar offices in Bangalore (I am aware of one in kaveri bhavan near majestic,SBI main branch , 2nd in KR Puram i.e Tahsildar office East Bangalore)

2. What are their limits

I dont know which lakes come under which office ? 

Can we file a RTI (or some other way) to find the list of lakes that come under different Tahsildar offices ?

Also please share your knowledge on :

1. what are the lake related documents that we can request from them like Lake/kere Survey map , Village map 

2. Any contact info ,of those who work there / who can help us in this.

When you are planning a lake, presumably, you'd know where it is located.

While requesting any lake survey, make sure to know the Survey no.

Dear Bala, The Taluk wise  lakes in Bangalore urban and rural areas is as under;        Taluq 1. Bangalore South          104 2. Bangalore  North            58 3.Anekal                               114 4.Magadi                               114 5.Nelamangala                      67 6.Devanahalli                          51 7.Hoskote                                78 8.Doddaballapura                  63 9.Channapatna                        55 10.Kanakapura                       140 11.Ramanagara                       86               TOTAL                          928     SOURCE: Taluq wise fresh water resources ,GOK Pub  1998 Regarding the Jurisdictional Tahasildar and Revenue Surveyors one should contact the office of the Tahasildar in each of the above Tq. For example the Tahasildar Bangalore[S] sits in Kandaya Bhavan K.G. Road, next to Cauvery Bhavan.There are 4 Surveyors with their office on first floor and one Superintending Surveyor in each Taluq with Wards within the Tq as their jurisdiction.All land records/maps including those of the lakes are with these Surveyors.These Surveyors are jurisdictionally under the Tahasildar but technically under the Director of Survey and Settlement GOK.
