Not an expert however I have been thinking about all the thoughts that
are being thrown around about what to put on flyers.

So I thought i would chime in: Personally I think we need to keep it
short sweet and to the point. We have a GREAT graphic to use. Anyone
who is a prior or current fan of WRVU will see "Save WRVU" and want to
know more. People who do not listen are not the ones that are going
to write, call or what ever? Those who care, by those short words
will do a couple of things because they are passionate about WRVU as
evident by the Facebook page. They wil:

1: Call the station and ask what is going on
2: Listen to the station to find out what is going on
3: Go to savewrvu.org to find out more
4: Go to WRVU.org for more info (which could have more on it then it
does?)

The simplier the message will strike a nerve with those who care and
are willing to do something as well as etch it in their mind. The
more we spread this simple message, the more impact there will be.
You start adding a bunch of verbage to a handout, sign or poster you
will likely have more people forget what the message is. The message
needs to be savewrvu.org

So that is my 2 nickles (as i believe Mojo wrote) I do not have a dog
in this hunt so please let's not turn this into a debate. Just want to
make everyone think what is the right for WRVU. I just want to get
something to a printer that is offering to help asap.

Thanks for your time, we return you now to the regularly scheduled
program.

I am an "expert" - if by expert you mean advertising/marketing professional - and while I advocate simplified copy and utilization of white space, I would advise that if your flyers are simply a call to action to visit savewrvu.org, then savewrvu.org needs to have a sticky post explaining the current situation, or at least a more detailed "About." Otherwise it's very unclear, without a bit of scrolling/link clicking, what we're saving WRVU from. I don't think you can assume widespread awareness of the risk that WRVU might lose its broadcasting lisence.

Hahaha@ Sam,

Yea, we need to revamp saveWRVU and have our struggle stated very clear on there.

I agree. Website is key because ultimately the message from our fliers is to go to that site. I vote with Kelly.
