To all:
Over the past two months, some of my remarks in this forum have been less civil than they should have been. I've written several comments regarding VSC and its personnel, and a lot of them have unfortunately used some inappropriate language. Looking back, when I thought myself to be in the safety of a closed email group of like-minded peers, I often let my passion and anger about the proposed sale of WRVU get the better of me, and I've written some things regarding Chris Carroll and his staff that I now regret. In my public commentary on the matter, I try to be as measured and respectful as possible, but privately I am sorry to say that sometimes I behaved poorly.
Therefore, I want to apologize for my remarks both to the staff of VSC and to the readers of this list. My intention was never to cast anyone in a bad light; I'm most interested in the true facts behind the issue at hand. I'm truly sorry for any offense I may have caused, and I promise that from this point forward I will make a concerted effort to be dispassionate and measured instead of allowing emotion to take over.
