The new weekly express will be started on Sundays Ex Ernakulam and on Mondays Ex Bangalore. The date of introduction of this train will be announced shortly on receipt of directives of Railway Board.

Thats a good news, if it realizes ! But we all would want to have one more train on sundays :-)

How does the introduction of the new train and cancellation of existing train can be explained? Is it really a "new" train?

A few people have got an update stating that a new train is being started on Sundays and the status as 'CASE CLOSED'. For a large number of people, there is no update after the complaint has been registered. For those who have not got any update, I would request this to be escalated. To escalate, go to the following link
Go to ‘Lodge a grievance’ and enter everything as done earlier. Only change being select ‘Yes’ on ‘Have you earlier lodged the grievance to the above organisation on the same subject?’ and give the the earlier registration number and date
