Well, I guess everyone is still at the community center talking. The
Cypress School Board has decided to keep Luther and Landell open. So
I'll be the first one to say Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! to Save-
Our-School group. Without this group our the fate of our school could
have been the other way around. I also want to thank to the City of
La Palma to help make the case why to keep Luther open. I'm just so
happy I don't know what else to say but YEAH!!!!

This is such good news! A HUGE thank you to everyone who made this a reality for our students (current and future), our families, our community, OUR SCHOOL!!!!

This was an incredible group effort! I would like to thank everyone that helped in the SOS group and gave their valuable time meeting after meeting.
For all of those people that were diligently working behind the scenes... THANK YOU!!!! We now have an even bigger job of getting people involved and working together. So please show your appreciation and volunteer!!!

I, too, would like to congratulate everyone. I saw students, former
students, parents, grandparents, former Luther parents, the city and other
community members all working together doing what each can do to save Luther
and we pulled it off. It was indeed a community effort and that is why we
are proud of our community and choose to live in it.

My boys were posting play by play at last night's meeting on Facebook for
his friends and he was getting almost hundred comments on some posts. Kids
were very excited. It got little tense towards the end of the meeting when
they decided to close Cawthone.
