Thanks for putting so much thought into this card.  You proposed several suggestions, which maybe was simply to keep the process a group effort.
However, I've been feeling a little uncomfortable.  To be clear.  I'm not the point person on this card, or even on this event.

I have many tasks on my plate, and this printing issue keeps showing up.

If you recall, I was the one who thought we should not do a card at all, since we didn't have one by last week.  But, I was willing to help as much as I could since others seemed to want to move forward with it.

So, I won't be printing the cards.  And as you know the designer's not printing them either.  I don't have any cash to offer toward printing at this time.  I remember that pike said she could pitch in some cash toward that.  I don't recall if there were others that offered.  And, Sherry talked to ClubCard about a discount if they print them.

So, you should move the printing forward as you think best, unless others have further suggestions. It's just that I can't take the lead on the printing.

Hope this didn't sound like a complaint, it wasn't meant that way, I just wanted to make this one issue a bit more clear.

Cheryl,

The backside of the Dine Out card including the logo looks very good as it is. Just as a suggestion, if we were to print this one side in color on moderately thick (60 weight) light grey paper without the logo on the other side, I think that it would look great, be more than adequate and render the printing more affordable. Just an opinion. By the way, the size of the jpg logo can be reduced by any of us so that it doesn't appear distorted for the front side if you want to go in that direction. I have re-sizers that will do this and I believe that I have a copy of the original logo.

No.  This designer has no printing connections.
He's done until the next assignment.

I already sent him the original jpg that I had.  So any better image will mean getting another jpg from lex, who did the Dine Out logo.

Cheryl,

The first attachment with the complete 4-plex is very good and a vast improvement over the earlier renditions. The second attachment with the logos needs some help as you already know since the magnification distorts the logos. Is the designer going to print them up or just make a template? On any hand, GOOD JOB and WELL DONE.

Nikki.

Nikki and Pike,

Attached the very simple and quick version by the graphics guy, Matt.

I'm going to email lex to ask if we can either find out what application the Dine Out logo was created in or if there is a higher res version.  Matt recommended this in case we have different needs for this logo in the future.
