This group is about to undergo some changes...

Google Groups won't support the welcome message soon, which is why i
think it won't let me edit it.

ANYWAYS, this group is moving in a direction more focused on defending
the Old Fort Lewis land at Hesperus from the many private interests
who are now trying to swoop in and capitalize off FLC's financial
position. The students, faculty, workers, and community at large must
oppose this and demand the use of the land as a cutting edge
permacultural research facility in conjunction with cultural
preservation programs controlled by Native students and faculty
themselves. If necessary, we must occupy the land and take it back.
The choice is theirs. Work with us and our vision for the land, which
will benefit us all, or face the resistance of a united community
front exposing and opposing the military-industrial arms industry
interests at work here.
