जयपुर । जोधपुर व ओसियां में जलस्तर बढ़ने तथा चौमूं में जलस्तर घटने के
पीछे एक जैसे कारण रहे हैं। जोधपुर के एक युवक ने जलस्तर बढ़ने और घटने
की इन घटनाओं को लेकर एक शोध किया है, जिसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर काफी
सराहना मिल रही है। जन जागृति विकास एवं सेवा समिति के अध्यक्ष यशवंत
देवड़ा ने अपने शोध में भूजल स्तर में आ रहे बदलावों के पीछे बहुत गहराई
तक खोदे जा रहे ट्यूबवैल को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है। देवड़ा ने दावा किया है
कि समुद्र का जलस्तर बढ़ने के पीछे भी ग्लोबल वार्मिग नहीं, बल्कि
अत्यधिक गहराई तक खोदे जा रहे ट्यूबवैल जिम्मेदार हैं।
