I'd be glad to send a funeral wreath with a huge Black Bow! Maybe it should be an evening candlelight memorial.
Would it be possible to have a public memorial on campus for the classes that were cancelled? Perhaps during lunch-time a very simple march through campus, perhaps with a small group of musicians playing a dirge? Ending with a reading of the list of classes cancelled and silent observation of the community's huge loss?To view this discussion on the web visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/fightbacksaveccsf13/1a491.4dc6c142.41326821%40aol.com.
Folks are so under the gun on a daily basis (and have been for two years) that the emotional losses continue to pile up. Maybe these classes will come back, I hope so but in the meantime it seems to me that some sort of public expression of grief might be in order.
