Although we have made tremendous gains we are still fighting for the college that all of our students deserve. We agree with the City Attorney who frames the issue as "success for a few" at the cost of "access for all."

and participate in the latest round of the all-important legal battle
to save our college from the out-of-control accrediting agency. Our

the Enrollment Campaign is not a project of the Save CCSF Coalition we
support and applaud it and recognize the importance of this work.
Building enrollment is probably the most important thing we can do at this point.]

Dear Colleagues,
The Add-On period for credit classes ends Sept 5th, but there’s still plenty for enrollment campaign volunteers to do!
Right
now we’re focusing on recruiting students for all our noncredit
programs. Although noncredit is open entry, students benefit in many
ways when they can start toward the beginning of the semester. Plus the
sooner new students start coming, the more ADA we get.
Sept 5th, Friday, I’ll be in the enrollment campaign office, Room 261, Bartlett Building, Mission Campus, from 12:30 to 3 pm. Please note that I have to leave promptly at 3 pm to co-chair a meeting. If you can’t come when we’re open, please email Susan Lopez at slo...@ccsf.edu to
volunteer, and we’ll send everything you need by campus mail. Also, if
you have a preference for a particular type of assignment or
neighborhood, please mention that.

Starting
next week we’ll have our first Late-Start Credit Class Flyer of the new
semester. Plus we need volunteers for the three remaining Sunday Streets events on Sept. 14 (in front of Mission Campus), Sept. 28 (Excelsior) and Oct. 26 (Fillmore St.). The most recent Sunday Streets event was very productive for outreach. But no volunteers, no outreach!
Doing
enrollment outreach is a great way to 1) help our beloved college, 2)
change lives and 3) lower your anxiety level, all at the same time.
