Come sing with us on Saturday!

We will be singing in the sanctuary this Saturday (Faith Primitive
Baptist Church, 3212 Bee Road, Savannah). The official start time is
2pm, but for anyone that wants to come and try to learn some new (to
us) or different songs, we will start at 1pm.

Our singing in Hinesville, I believe, was well-received. There were 18
of us singing and I think around 50 in the pews. The service went
smoothly and the short lesson afterward was fun. We were fed richly in
body and spirit. Many thanks to Buck for organizing this for us.

Hey Gene,

Would you pass this on to all of our singers?

Gene’s previous statement that we were “well received” at St. Philip’s
in Hinesville is actually an understatement. People are still coming
to me telling me how our music moved them deeply in last Sunday’s
service. I want to personally thank everyone who went to the church
and sang their heart out on each of the 13 songs that we performed.
It meant a lot to our congregation and it meant a lot to me. Thanks
for all of your support. I’m looking pretty good over there right
now.

One parishioner said that he got a video recording of the entire
service. I’ll see how it turned out and let you know.
