The Create & Inspire art competition launches online today at www.create-inspire.org. The initiative is run by the Crossway Foundation in partnership with Art Jameel and Qatar Museums Authority.
This year’s Create & Inspire competition is open to 16-25 year old nationals and residents of the United Kingdom, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The theme of the competition, “The World is not Black and White” is inspired by the Qatar Brazil 2014 Year of Culture, a unique cultural exchange programme between the two countries.
Twelve winners will be selected to travel to Brazil in September 2014, and experience one of the most colourful cultures in the world on the creative adventure of a lifetime.
To mark the online launch of the competition, the Crossway Foundation has collaborated with Saudi Arabia’s leading online video network, Cinema of Arabia, to release an exclusive short film which can be watched here.
