Dear Madame / Sir,
Every year for the past 16 years, the disciples of Swami Satyananda and Swami Niranjan in Mumbai have been collecting funds to buy TB drugs at subsidized prices for the TB afflicted in and around Rikhia Peeth.
Sivananda Math, the associate organisation of the Bihar School of Yoga which runs the dispensary, has informed us that TB has now been eradicated in the area around Rikhia Peeth. However Paramahamsaji has extended the boundaries to embrace many more villages.
Therefore, we are continuing the collection drive. Your contribution to this project in the past has been invaluable.
The cost of treating one villager for one full year is approximately Rs.3,000/-. Therefore, we request your contribution by cheque or cash, to be sent to "Shirin Sabavala, 51–A, Meher Apartments, Anstey Road, Cumballa Hill, Mumbai – 400 026". Cheques to be made out to "Satyananda Yoga Centre". Our receipt carries an 80–G exemption. Alternatively, please phone Ramnavami on 9821122038.
