Nepal Disaster Relief

Dear BSNA and GBC Family,

 As you all have been following the news about the Saturday’s catastrophic earthquake in Nepal. It’s devastating effects have been felt in Kathmandu, all of the Nepal and northern India. A significant loss of lives and properties has occurred. The death toll has risen to more than 5000. Unfavorable weather conditions are making it very difficult for help to reach to the affected mountainous areas.

 

Our heart goes to the distraught individuals, families and the Country. We send our heartfelt prayers. I would like to request you all to keep them in your prayers.

 

Also there are a number of organizations that have been pouring help in the form of food, water, medicine and other essential items of need. We could contribute in these efforts via donating some money and material (if you are in India or Nepal) through any of these numerous agencies. You may also send your checks to BSNA Treasurer at 9026 Olive St, Bellflower, CA 90706. Checks should be written to “BSNA” with a note in the memo section as "Nepal Earthquake Disaster Support”.

 

Meanwhile please keep praying for the relief of all the affected people and lives.
