Proxy support?

I've been using Satscape for some time now successfully apart from two
scenarios:
1. When running satscape at a special event (where no internet access
is available), i cannot get the software to come up; is there a way to
have it continue to operate even though it cannot get an update from
the web?
2. I now have a need of running the software at work where we have a
proxy in place. I see the "legacy" thick client documentation has a
configuration screen for Proxy, but I cant find anything for it in the
Java version.
