Hello Scott,

I have Satscape up and running fine now in Win 7 but I am curious to know why there is no way to have the pass predictions come out as a TEXT file and not a spreadsheet? I am used to having a .txt file I can edit in Notepad rather than having to deal with Xcel and a spreadsheet
.
Do you have plans to change the output to allow .txt as another choice?

Also I am curious that there are rumors of a Beta version 10.07.03 I see all kinds of links to it but can't find it anywhere. I'd be happy to help you test it :D

I realize that you are doing many other things other than supporting Satscape but I really appreciate the hard work that you put into it so thanks!

Fro the last 30 years I have been using STSORBITPLUS from my late friend David Ransom. His program let me work the MIR Space Station. But it is DOS based and there's no hope of using it on Win 7-64.

Thank you very much, best regards (73) from this the "other side of the pond."

Hello,
I may add a plain text format if it's something you think would be better. The CSV file should open in notepad too, it's really just plain text separated with commas, try right click the file and choose open with notepad and see if that helps. Just tried it on mine and in notepad it looks like this:

Satellite,Start time (local),Start AZ,Peak time,Peak AZ,Peak EL,End Time,End Az,Length,Visible
ISS (ZARYA),'06:52:26 Nov 30',20,06:55:26,53,2,06:58:21,85,5,No

So, doesn't look as nice, but it works.

The newest version is 12.07.14. I use the date for the version number (14th July 2012) I update it from time-to-time with little fixes, but not as often as I used to, you can always find the latest version on the official website: http://satscape.info/satscape/

Hope that helps,
73s
Scott
