Hi!

Greetings of the Season :)

Firstly, let the pools be(based on last year's points):

 

To speed up the first round I want it to be a written thing consisting of a 20 questions, limited time with negative marks.

Again as initially decided a team of 6 members consisting of 3 freshers has to be nominated from each hostel.Each face off would have a team of 3(2+1 fresher) and with the condition that all freshers have to play at least one match.

Now each team would contribute 40 short questions.

An illustration:For the first match Kumaon vs Vindy, 10 questions would be picked from the lot contributed by Shiva and 10 from Jwala (the other hostels in the pool). This will maintain a certain difficulty level.The  moderation and finalization of the questions would be done by the moderator assigned to that match-up i.e Umang and so on.

At the end the top two teams from each pool qualify for the finals which can be a mix of infinite bounce, LVC, reversals etc. 

The other thing I thought was to have a single quiz based on bidding system. One example would be the IPL kind.
