Change in the number of frames that can be stored in a single folder
The maximum number of frames that can be stored in a single folder will be changed from 9,999 to 999 with Ver.1.30 or later.
A firmware bug is fixed that the exposure of the preview image and the recorded image are different from each other when shooting manually with the XF50mmF1.0 R WR, which has a bright aperture F value.
The firmware bugs have been fixed, which caused that the cameras rarely froze right after the completion of the firmware update with the current version using a smartphone (tablet) in which Camera Remote application software was installed.
XLR microphone adapter* has been supported. As a result, [XLR MIC ADAPTER SETTING] option has been added under the [AUDIO SETTING] in the movie menu as well as [4ch AUDIO PLAYBACK] option has been added under [SOUND SETTING] in the setup menu.
In P and A mode, this firmware makes the slowest shutter speed slower than 1/8 sec. for the shooting used in a scene where relatively long exposure is required (ex. a flash shooting with night view background). In case the shutter speed setting is AUTO, the shutter speed becomes max. 4 sec in P mode and max. 30 sec. in A mode.

I am not sure excatly when it changed but, yes, playback is not consistent for my 2 x 2Cs. I can play a new notification straight away, but not from the events list - that takes a while to start to play.

I had forwarded the issue to our engineers for analysis, and they assume the issue is related to the current firmware and are planning to resolve the issue in the following firmware update as soon as possbile. It's January 2020, and I just got a used GM1, updated the stock firmware. I put in a Samsung 64GB card, set for 24fps AVCHD, full HD - set it in movie mode - hit record. It blew right past the 30 minute mark. It generated 2 files in total. First file went about 25.5 minutes and created a single 4.29Gb file, then kept going another 22+ minutes (3.8Gb) until new (uncharged) battery almost ran out. It's an American version of the camera, I didn't do anything unusual to it. And it appears to record for as long as the battery lasts. My thoughts too. Absolutely shocked they updated the firmware last month, I only found it by forcing myself to check for an update one last time. lol But the biggest dam annoying bug is not listed as fixed!!! Glad it does seem to be fixed, though. FINALLY. Looks like I can now lift any future WD media device ban I had in place.

the update seemed to sneak in a Netflix update because now in some places you can not watch Netflix
it now says your are using a proxy or DNS to watch Netflix and some people cant even connect

Still get reboots when using YouTube for a while or loading YouTube red occasionally.
(Of course right now YouTube app is not working at all but this a google issue I believe)

How do you upgrade the firmware for an Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter? I've seen this same error has been reported in the past (2015 and Aug. 2022). I don't see a viable solution. After the error appears, I can sometimes try to reconnect my devices (problem is the same with both iPhone 11 and iPad 6th gen) and I am sometimes successful in projecting to the TV, but the videos I watch occasionally stop and my connection is lost mid-stream. This is very frustrating, especially since the Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter is an expensive cable to replace if that is necessary.
