Remember to come by New Horizons this evening at 6. Jon Burgin undoubtedly has an awesome talk prepared for us on how to use the new features in JDK 8 for fun and profit! The language updates in version 8 are pretty extensive, and you can start doing some functional-looking things in core Java to produce more concise and concurrency-safe code.
