Hello all!

Our team, responsible for our Internet Retail site HomeDepot.com, is located within our 3 technology centers: Dallas and Austin, TX and HQ in Atlanta. Right now we only have new space in Atlanta so seeking those with an interest relocating! 

We just won Internet Retailer of the Year Award and couldn't be more thrilled that all our efforts so far have paid off. In order to perfect our site even further while incorporating newer open source technologies and building a public cloud platform from the ground up, we need more experts in key areas. 

We are a Java/J2EE and Agile development environment so strong skills in that along with Spring, Hibernate and other frameworks is a necessity. This really is an exciting time to work with our group as your contributions will have a significant impact on our direction and sales.

Key focus areas: APIs, Cart/Checkout, MyAccounts, Semantic Search, Data Analytics, Big Data, Cloud, NLP, ecommerce, Machine Learning, Spring, Hibernate, Cassandra, Web Services, Web Apps.

General Qualifications:
5+ years full SDLC experience w/ daily coding at least 40% of time
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field desired
4+ years’ experience with Java, J2EE, Tomcat, Spring, Cassandra, Struts, Hibernate
3+ years’ experience with Web Services, JSON, XML, REST Technologies, Cloud
2+ years experience with ecommerce platforms such as ATG Commerce, WebSphere Commerce
2+ years working in AWS, Google, OpenStack or Azure public cloud platform desired
2+ years of experience on large-scale ecommerce initiatives in high transactional, high or consumer/customer/information/retail based web portals desired
