Location: O'Fallon, MO (Mastercard Main Campus) Hybrid (Local candidates strongly preferred)
Duration: 6+ months (High likelihood of extension)
Interview Process: Minimum one Face-to-Face interview required

Preferred Industry Background: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or other Payments/Financial Services organizations

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps).
  • Advanced experience with Power Automate for enterprise workflow automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DataverseMicrosoft Fabric, and SharePoint integrations.
  • Proven track record building and supporting production-grade Power Platform solutions at scale.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and maintainable design patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the PaymentsFinancial Services, or FinTech industry.
  • Prior experience working with organizations such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or similar payment processing companies.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to support and enhance critical applications that drive the launch and management of new payment products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building enterprise-grade solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft Fabric, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and user experience.

 

Team Overview

The team is responsible for managing and optimizing the processes that enable the successful launch of new products across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Power Apps Canvas Applications for enterprise users.
  • Refactor and optimize existing applications to improve performance, scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
  • Build, enhance, and support robust Power Automate workflows that operate reliably in production environments.
  • Design and implement scalable data models using Dataverse and SharePoint.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for security, governance, performance, and application lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
