During darshan of Bala Periyaval near Chennai recently, I received the enclosed leaflet reg. Sri Kamakshi Srividya Samithi.

As all of you are aware, Bala Periyaval is very concerned about the deteriorating morals, culture and values; Sri Kamakshi Srividya Samithi is a step in the direction of improving this situation. This is aimed at improving the quality of girl children. All of us will agree that it is more due to women that our cultural values

have stood the test of time.

Structured programmes of Sloka classes, Tulasi Pooja etc. for girls are part of this initiative; the programmes are being followed right now in Chennai, Balgalore and Hyderabad; the emphasis is on bringing up the quality of girls, specially, 12th standard passed. 

We should all do our best to work on the path shown by Periyaval.
