Dear All,

Greetings and Namaste. As tomorrow (Wednesday, 19-Aug-2015) marks the occasion of Garuda Panchami, I am glad to attach a rare Kavacham on Lord Garuda titled Ashu Garuda Kavacham taken from Akasha Bhairava Tantra, Chapter 14. This Kavacham is given by Lord Shiva to Goddess Parvati. The Garuda Dhyana Shloka is from a different source. The efficacy of this hymn can be easily understood from the Phalashruti.

Like Lord Sudarshana worship, Lord Garuda Upasana is not for the ordinary and only for the initiated. Lord Garuda worship, in the mundane terms, is an effective remedy for afflictions by Rahu and Ketu.
