Dear A3M Supporters, First of all, A3M would like to welcome our new volunteers who just joined the A3M family. Thanks for donating your time and work! Below are some updates on patients who A3M had worked/currently working with:
CTF Janet Liang – She is doing well and is finishing her 4th round of chemo. Betty Wong – She was diagnosed with AML lost her battle on January 25, 2010 after receiving a cord blood transplant in June 2005. Anonymous – He is starting to feel pretty sick and is still waiting for transplant.
PTF Barbara Fine – She went to Disneyland with her immediate family last week. A3M made a financial contribution to make this happen. She is tentatively scheduled to have a transplant. Date TBA. Jennifer Juanes – She had a transplant recently.
Ray Sisante – He’s two remaining siblings have been tested. One is a perfect match. Ray of Hope Benefit is scheduled on February 19. He finished 1st round of chemo at COH. He is still admitted but looking to go home soon to prepare for transplant.
SATF Samiah Razak – She is doing well. Gaurav Tandon – she is responding well to Chemotherapy. Ravi Vij – He is getting chemotherapy and doing well. Maya Chamberlin – She is getting chemotherapy and responding well.
Kerina Pravinia – She is recently diagnosed with ALL.
JTF Krissy Kobata – She just had her bone marrow biosy. The result shows that her counts are low, but she is doing fine at the moment.
KTF Connor Lim – He is suffering from hyper IGM syndrome is still searching for a match. He is only four and he will most likely not make it to 25 years old of age without transplant.
David Chung – He has a 9/10 match but wait for 10/10 to be found. Jisong Im – He is taking sprycell and things are in control.
HTF Vincent Rodriguez – He had kimo and is at home recovering. But he is still waiting to have a transplant with a matching donor.
VTF Matthew Nguyen is doing well after his transplant. He is now resting at home. Viet Lam, Him Pham, and Barry Pham are recently diagnosed with BAL and is searching for a donor. Trung Nguyen was diagnosed with MDS and had a transplant.
Most of patients above are still waiting for their life-saving match to save their life. Your kind help and time donation will be highly needed and appreciated if you can volunteer at any of the upcoming drives below:
