SATERN Will Activate ahead of Willa

HURRICANE WILLA

I plan to activate the International SATERN 20 meter net for hurricane Willa, currently off the west coast of Mexico.

Maximum Sustained winds of 160 mph (Category 5) & Willa is expected to make landfall very early Tuesday morning. Here is the net activation details:

Day: Tuesday October 23
Time: 1600 to 2200 UTC (9 am to 3 pm Pacific or 12 to 6 pm Eastern and 11 AM to 05:00 PM CT)
Frequency: 14.265 MHz or alternate 14.312 MHz
Status: Delta II mode
Plans: If we receive any traffic, activation may extend into Wednesday

Net Controls Needed: I need 6 Net Control Operators for Tuesday. If you can help SATERN, please suggest a 1 hour time slot you would prefer.

UPDATE:

Here's the schedule I have worked out, which shows the hours for Tuesday. 1400, with W0HMS as net control, is our normal morning net, generally ending by 1600 Zulu.

I have cancelled this coming Saturday net because of the CQ World Wide DX contest, which always fills the entire 20 meter net & creates far too much interference.
