Southern Territory 40 meter SSB Net Changes

For some time now we have contemplated a change in either time or frequency for the net.

Recent developments have made it possible to move to the 7.265 frequency formerly used by the Central Territory Net on Saturdays. We adopted the 7.262 frequency so as not to interfere with the Central Territory net which met at the same time. They have now changed their meeting time to Tuesdays as reflected in the National Liaison Newsletters. This gives us an opportunity to use that frequency on Saturdays with no interference.

Beginning 15 Sep 2018 we will use 7.265 as the SATERN So. Terr. 40 Meter SSB net frequency.

We hope this does not cause confusion but it is necessary to move away from very strong side channel QRM at 7.260.
