NewSat will join the China Satellite Conference 2012

One of the premiere events for the satellite industry in Asia is back. From September 19 to 21, the China Satellite Conference 2012, will see thousands of delegates from the satellite sector converge at the Hotel Nikko New Century in Beijing. The event is one of the biggest platforms for networking and business opportunities with satellite operators, suppliers, hardware manufacturers, customers as well as key leaders from regional and international organizations taking part.

Peter Sim, of NewSat Ltd, will be attending the event to represent Australia’s largest independent satellite communications specialist. The company is currently set to launch Australia’s first commercial satellite, the Jabiru-1, by 2014. Mr Sim will be a part of the China Satellite Conference to also discuss NewSat’s current and future satellite capabilities. The Jabiru Satellite Program is aimed to deliver powerful, high-capacity services via the Ka Band Spectrum.
