django-bursar or other payment module for FirstData Global Gateway API?

Is https://bitbucket.org/bkroeze/django-bursar functional for processing payments through the FDGG API? If not, how far off is it from being functional?

What about the possible addition of some other payment module type bridge in satchmo to use Paython https://github.com/abunsen/Paython ?

Trying to gauge the difficulty in getting support for the FirstData Global Gateway API into satchmo - from the perspective of a newcomer to python/django/satchmo.
