sorl thumbnail version?

In the .92-dev requirements, it says sorl thumbnail version has to be 3.2.5. Is there a technical limitation from upgrading or is it because of syntax changes?

It is purely the syntax issue. I think it should work fine but I haven't had time to qa it.
