Apoorvamand’s otherwise thoughtful commentary left out the most important ingredient, a representative analysis of Bari Committee report, which diminished it’s usefulness. It would have been interesting to follow the arguments made by the committee to arrive at the conclusion that the work of Sabrang Trust does in fact promote communal discord and disharmony contrary to it's avowed purpose of promoting harmony and concord, which the central government grant wished to help.
Had the hollow and torturous arguments, which the Bari committee would have surely had to deploy to arrive at conclusions that are completely at variance with what Sabrang Trust’s  work professes to do, were exposed thoroughly; then the report would have stood discredited for what it is - a hatchet job for the ruling dispensation by a willing minion. Such a forensic examination would have possibly avoided at least some of the adverse readers’ comments the article elicited because facts would have then confronted opinions/ feelings.

The surgical strikes on Teesta Setalvad continue with the Bari report, and we should all be ashamed
