Article is not without merit, but in a putatively rigorous data analysis led piece there is a glaring dichotomy. Uncollected Tax at one place is estimated between 6 to 9 lacs crores. At another place it is stated that for every Rs.100 tax collected, Rs. 300 or Rs. 200 in taxes are not collected. This gives uncollected tax between 22.24 to 14.96 lacs crores for FY2015-16.
