April 12th is પરમકૃપાળુદેવનો દેહવિલય દિન. પરમકૃપાળુદેવ made tremendous progress in Mokshmarg in short life of 33 years and 5 months and also left behind the Marg for us to pursue.
We are the fortunate beneficiaries of that rare Marg. Being the beneficiaries is not enough though. We really need to contemplate on this occasion as to how we can get traction in our aradhana to make real progress in the Marg and attain Self Realization.
This new virus thing should give us added motivation to get traction in aradhana by going after the real disease. If we take care of the real disease, we will never have to worry about diseases such as one from this virus.
Which real disease? પરમકૃપાળુદેવ calls સંસાર રોગ a real disease. There is no worst disease than સંસાર રોગ. This disease makes us go into birth and death cycles. If we are born, we will be subjected to all the Sansari miseries, old age and diseases we endure in between the birth and the death.
પરમકૃપાળુદેવ states that વીતરાગનો કહેલો પરમ શાંત રસમય ધર્મ પૂર્ણ સત્ય છે, એવો નિશ્ચય રાખવો. જીવના અનધિકારીપણાને લીધે તથા સત્પુરુષના યોગ વિના સમજાતું નથી; તોપણ તેના જેવું જીવને સંસાર રોગ મટાડવાને બીજું કોઈ પૂર્ણ હિતકારી ઔષધ નથી,એવું વારંવાર ચિંતવન કરવું. આ પરમ તત્ત્વ છે, તેનો મને સદાય નિશ્ચય રહો; એ યથાર્થ સ્વરૂપ મારા હૃદયને વિષે પ્રકાશ કરો, અને જન્મમરણાદિ બંધનથી અત્યંત નિવૃત્તિ થાઓ! નિવૃત્તિ થાઓ!!
Meaning, strongly believe and contemplate often that વીતરાગનો કહેલો પરમ શાંત રસમય ધર્મ (our aradhana) is completely true. Sansari Souls do not realize this because they are unaware of it and have not met a સત્પુરુષ, (who can explain this to them) but there is no other right medicine for a Soul to cure સંસાર રોગ. I will always believe in this ultimate truth and realize it to completely break away from the birth and death cycles.
What if after taking all the precautions, we still get this virus before we cure our સંસાર રોગ? There are two possibilities. Either we will survive like 94% of the people do or we will be greeted by our eternal Valentine. We should not fear Valentine anymore because we have the Marg and blessed with the Prapti.
We should continue to do what we are taught to do at the time of Prapti in any situation including greeting the Valentine with confidence. Why? Because we have taken shelter in a જ્ઞાનીપુરુષ and are not very far from curing the સંસાર રોગ. How do we know that?
પરમકૃપાળુદેવ states દુર્લભ એવો મનુષ્યદેહ પણ પૂર્વે અનંત વાર પ્રાપ્ત થયા છતાં કંઈ પણ સફળપણું થયું નહીં; પણ આ મનુષ્યદેહને કૃતાર્થતા છે, કે જે મનુષ્યદેહે આ જીવે જ્ઞાનીપુરુષને ઓળખ્યા, તથા તે મહાભાગ્યનો આશ્રય કર્યો, જે પુરુષના આશ્રયે અનેક પ્રકારના મિથ્યા આગ્રહાદિની મંદતા થઈ, તે પુરુષને આશ્રયે આ દેહ છૂટે એ જ સાર્થક છે. જન્મજરામરણાદિને નાશ કરવાવાળું આત્મજ્ઞાન જેમને વિષે વર્તે છે, તે પુરુષનો આશ્રય જ જીવને જન્મજરામરણાદિનો નાશ કરી શકે, કેમકે તે યથાસંભવ ઉપાય છે.
Meaning, we have lived the rare human life
countless times without any success, but our current human life is a success
because we recognized the જ્ઞાનીપુરુષ (Self Realized one), took shelter in that fortunate one by letting go of the false
rigid views and will leave this body while in his shelter. Self Realization
cures જન્મજરામરણાદિ (સંસાર રોગ) and
taking shelter in the Self Realized one is the right cure for the સંસાર રોગ.
We are truly grateful to પરમકૃપાળુ દેવ for imparting this wisdom in us and making our human life a success. Let us pay tribute to પરમકૃપાળુ દેવ and listen to this:
