November 5th is Kartiki Punam and પરમકૃપાળુ દેવનો birthday. This is time to take a test on this special day to measure our progress in the Mokshmarg since his last birthday.
Take the below test after watching the Year 2025 test video. The video is about two Souls making promises that cannot be kept.
Answer the following questions after watching the video. Here is Year 2025 test video link:

1. She is asking him to promise that they will not live without each other and will not be separated. Do you wish she knew that “સંસારના જેટલા જેટલા સંબંધ છે તેટલા તેટલા બધા વિનાશિક છે.”?
2. Without giving a thought, He right away promises her what she is asking for. Do you wish He knew that “શરીર, વૈભવ, લક્ષ્મી, કુટુંબ, પરિવારાદિક સર્વ વિનાશી છે”?
3. Both are using metaphors to describe their oneness in relation. Do you wish they knew that “સર્વ દુઃખનું મૂળ સંયોગ (સંબંધ) છે એમ જ્ઞાનવંત એવા તીર્થંકરોએ કહ્યું છે.”?
4. He wants to be with her in every future life. Do you wish He knew that “જેના વિના એક પળ પણ હું નહીં જીવી શકું એવા કેટલાક પદાર્થો (સ્ત્રીઆદિક) તે અનંત વાર છોડતાં, તેનો વિયોગ થયાં અનંત કાળ પણ થઈ ગયો; તથાપિ તેના વિના જિવાયું એ કંઈ થોડું આશ્ચર્યકારક નથી.”?
5. She wants their Sansar to be beautiful with everlasting love. Do you wish she had read that “સર્વજ્ઞ મહાવીરનાં વચન સર્વ સ્થળે એ જ છે કે, સંસાર એકાંત અને અનંત શોકરૂપ તેમ જ દુઃખપ્રદ છે. મહાવીરનો એક સમય માત્ર પણ સંસારનો ઉપદેશ નથી.”?
6. She wants to endure each other’s happiness and unhappiness together in their beautiful Sansar. Do you wish she knew that “આ સંસારમાં કોઈ કોઈનું નથી. આ મારો આત્મા એકલો છે, તે એકલો આવ્યો છે, એકલો જશે; પોતાનાં કરેલાં કર્મ એકલો ભોગવશે.”?
7. પરમકૃપાળુ દેવ has given us આજ્ઞા કે “જગત આત્મરૂપ માનવામાં આવે; જે થાય તે યોગ્ય જ માનવામાં આવે; પરના દોષ જોવામાં ન આવે; પોતાના ગુણનું ઉત્કૃષ્ટપણું સહન કરવામાં આવે તો જ આ સંસારમાં રહેવું યોગ્ય છે; બીજી રીતે નહીં.” Do you stay aware of the presence of ભઞવાન આત્મા in all living beings you come across?
8. Were you aware of the presence of ભઞવાન આત્મા in each performing artist while watching the video to comply with પરમકૃપાળુ દેવની આજ્ઞા?
9. Were you aware that without the presence of ભઞવાન આત્મા, the artists would not have been able to perform?
10. Do you realize that such live performance requires perfect timing by all the artists and is not easy to produce?
11. Do you realize that the artists must have worked very hard over many years to learn music, singing and playing the instruments to make their performance flawless?
12. Did you notice both singers’ enthusiasm while singing?
13. Did you notice the violin players’ concentration?
14. Are you inspired after watching the video to apply the same type of efforts with enthusiasm and concentration in your aradhana like the artists did in their field?
That is the end of the test. Now, grade yourself by counting “Yes” and “No” answers. Count “I don’t know” and “May be” as “Wrong” answers.
You pass the test if you answered “Yes” to all the questions. If not, you fail and it is time to go to the Ashram to attend the number of Shibirs equal to the number of your wrong answers. Attending online Shibir(s) does not count.
If we comply with પરમકૃપાળુ દેવની આજ્ઞા and stay aware of ભઞવાન આત્મા in all living beings, we will not express Kashay towards them. We do not express Kashay towards ભઞવાનની deity. Why would we want to express Kashay towards living beings with identical ભઞવાન in them?
This is the time to pay tribute to પરમકૃપાળુ દેવ for giving us all the wisdom necessary to make progress in the Marg. We must pay utmost gratitude every day and appreciate his compassion for us.
