I have a 4-cylinder, 5-speed, 2.5ci, no carburator Jeep Comanche-year 86.
When the weather is cold my Jeep Comanche runs one second then shuts down.
With excessive acelerator it will keep running but will not warm up to run
at idle. Please help!!!

Dear Heather,
Assuming that nothing under the hood has disturbed and all vacuum
lines are intact,
I would suspect that the idle control solenoid is at fault. Have a
qualified tech run a
scan on your computer controls. If this is a high mile vehicle one or
more sensors
may have failed. Such as MAP sensor, coolant temp sensor, etc.
